Lincoln at 3..............
Lincoln is cracking us up every minute, but also bringing us more challenges then before! He is so funny the things he says and does (not missing a thing!). He is very dutchy when he talks making it a little bit hard for those who are not with us all the time to understand him. I love his dutchy voice and will be sad when he outgrows it! He still loves playmobile, really enjoys dressing up, and of course the mud and outdoors! We have our mommies group twice a week and then go to the zoo every Wednesday with friends....he loves playing with his friends, but also enjoys his time alone playing. He is a child that never has to be entertained!! He will play and play!! He is completely potty trained and very intrigued that he can go outside and aim at things. Sometimes we have messes on our hands! He still has a fear of going #2 on the potty, but never has accidents he just asks for a pull up, goes, and then wants changed. I am sure this will phase out eventually. He is very much a mommas boy and I love every minute of it. I know it will not always be this way...so why not enjoy it now!! We rarely, if ever leave him and that could pose a problem come preschool, but we are not too concerned. One of these days he will be 16 and leaving us all the time so we treasure these times that we can control!! He is so excited for the new baby and still believes her name will be Aly. He carries around a baby doll from time to time and calls it Aly too. He will be a great big brother!! I am not concerned about the new baby at all, I am however concerned about the move. He very much loves our house and loves still being in our bedroom. It is going to be a big adjustment and it does worry me, but I am sure we will get through it. He is picky about what he wears (which I totally deserve my moms says) it takes a lot of persuading to get him in what I want!! Someday I will give the battle up, but that day is not today or anytime soon! He eats everything, but macaroni and cheese and still takes a 2-3 hour nap and sleeps 10 hours at night. He weighs 36 lbs and I am not sure how tall or what percentile that makes him. He absolutely loves having his back scratched and rubbed. He likes to be put to sleep that way, but Matt will not let me do that every night!! He hates having his hair cut and does not like to be naked or without a shirt. He loves markers and stickers!! Favorite food: chop suey with rice and taco salad............favorite color: blue...........favorite book: Sparky and the fire truck............favorite movie: Peter Pan...............favorite show: Dora & Diego , Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Hey my Mom said you guys moved into your new house last weekend! Very exciting!!! I heard that Lincoln is having a hard time adjusting and wanting to "go back home"! I'm sure it's because he's in his own room but stay strong and don't give in...trust me you'll regret it later as it will be even harder then! It's never easy letting your kids cry things out but know it's for their best and you're only doing what is right for them in the long run! Just wanted to let you know I'm praying for you...stay strong!!! =) When that new baby comes you'll be SO glad you stuck with it!!
