I have been dreading this post on Lincoln because this is probably my last written post about my little guy before he turns TWO!!! I am struggling a little bit with thinking about how fast time has gone by and although I know I should just be thankful I have a happy healthy almost two year old, tears come to my eyes when I think about my little baby becoming a big boy. However, I am looking so forward to what is to come!! The last couple weeks have been busy...first off we have all had colds (and Lincoln's actually turned to bronchitis which is scary)...second we have had visitors for a week in a half. My parents were here for five days and then my friend Val came. It has been so much fun, and I love having people here it helps not feeling so homesick! I turned 25 on Monday too....matthew and lincoln made me a video and it was too cute!! My boys are so good to me!! Thank you to everyone who made my day special!! Okay enough about me......lets talk about he little man......................
Lincoln is talking up a storm. Learning a new word every few minutes it seems. Repeating everything!! He loves choo choo's and tells me about how a man named Bob drives them. He says choo choo mommy man bob....haha! Only a mom could understand what he is telling me. Which seems to be much of the case, I understand completely what he is saying and wants and it is still a little hard for people who are not daily with us to understand his language. He does great with some words, but others are a little hard to understand. He loves his men (that is what he calls all of his little guy figurines) they are his number one thing to play with. He lines them up, puts them on animals, pushes them on cars...exc. exc. He also loves his train, truck, and kitchen set (and of course his big dog dog). He likes to carry around bags and put his men in them along with some other little things. He would be outside no matter what temperature, he just love roaming around outside. He will eat pretty much everything, he does not like mac 'n' cheese though. We are thinking he is left handed (which comes from his grandma Dubord and Matthew). He uses both hands, but seems to be more coordinated with his left and he uses it more often. He loves to color and always wants me to draw him an apple, ball and draw around his hand. I am not sure why an apple?? Lately he is wanting to choose what he wears (stressful for me) and usually he choses it from the dirty laundry basket and there is hardly a way of changing his mind. However, he loves to have a dog dog and a boat on his shirt. Oh! and I have got him liking polo because of the horse! He will wear other things too, but he would prefer to have something he can tell people about by pointing to his shirt. If I want him to wear something plain I put on dog dog socks and then he is fine with whatever else he is wearing (thank you Mimi for the bright orange dog dog socks they seems to go with everthing! haha!). Another thing about clothes is he hates his sleeves rolled up or pant leg not down. I wore carpris today and he kept pulling on them. Too Funny! He has showed no interest in potty training, so we have layed it to rest for a while. Well it seems that I am writing a book (a lot of which is for my record someday when I forget when he did what). Enjoy the beautiful weekend!! Oh! Lincoln weighs 28 lbs.
