Lincoln's 11 months.........

Crazy how the past 11 months have gone by so quickly. I am getting sad that our little boy is going to be a year old, but I feel so blessed to have such a perfect little boy. We have been very busy lately. We left last Wednesday and went to the cabin and also took a trip into Nashville to go shopping and looking around. It was a wonderful time!! The mall was great, we all made out very well with some new spring clothes...Yeah!! We went to the Oppryville hotel, which was Amazing! It is like a town inside of a hotel, we had so much fun! Luke, Nichole, & Addie came to meet up with us for the weekend and we went to a nice dinner and shopped with them and played a lot of Mexican train dominoes!! It was a great trip and we all came home on Sunday night. It was nice to get away for a few days. Now as for Lincoln........He is doing more and more things.....he walks very well behind his toys and is quite the little explorer. He is in to everything!!! He does not miss a thing, he knows where you put your cup at all times, and can get to it very quickly!! He is standing on his own for longer periods of time and can take a step before he falls down. He is giving hugs and kisses, and of course saying mama and dada. He still only has his two bottom teeth, but is starting to eat crackers and some new things. He still nurses though. Lincoln is finally taking a couple good naps. He takes an hour nap in the morning and in the afternoon, but when he wakes up he is mad that he missed out and fell asleep! You have to lay him down with a bippy in his mouth and one in his hand, and he switches them back and forth until he falls asleep. He never fusses when you lay him down now. He weighs 22 lbs, which I think is just pretty average for his age (we don't have a check up until April). When we go to a new place or if we are around anybody new, it takes Lincoln about 15 minutes to quit studying the atmosphere and then he warms up and starts acting a little more like himself. However, with the exception of my parent's house he does not act like himself unless he is home!! He is such a happy baby and very cuddly and loving!! The older he gets the more lovey he gets, and that I LOVE!! Lincoln is much more sensitive than a lot of babies, if you tell him No his feelings get hurt more than anything and he puckers up. It is horrible. Addie and Lincoln have been together a lot and they are having more and more fun! They are so fun to watch grow up together! Lincoln loves playing with Addie's baby doll bottles...Ha! He is also loving Beans (which is Addie's dog), he is normally scared of dogs, but he loves beans lately. He will grab for him and try to get him when he is across the room....Poor beans has a lot of torture coming up with babies in his house!!
