2 years & 3 months......

Well it has been a long time since I have posted what Lincoln has been up to. He is at a very fun, but trying at times..... age. He is repeating everything you say..which is hilarious!! He understands when you are explaining things to him. He loves to be outside, read books, and he LOVES his little figurines "his men". He likes to put them on and off of tractors, cars, horses, cows and anything else they will sit on. He plays so well with toys...for hours he is content. Outside he likes to play with his bat and tee and loves to play in bubbles and water. He is doing great this summer swimming too. He can wear a puddle jumper and swim with a lot of freedom. I still wish he had a little fear of the water, but he sure loves it. He likes to make tents with blankets, likes to color and loves stickers. As he is getting older he is becoming more and more of a cuddler (which we can not get enough of). He does require a lot of sleep. He can not go without a nap!! He goes to bed between 8-8:30.....gets up at between 7-8......and takes a 2 1/2-3 hour nap. He does not complain at all when bed time is here. He grabs a book and goes right to bed. However, he does still have his bippy (pacifier) at night and nap time. He still has a hat and shoe obsession. He only likes his cub hat right now. He wears it all the time and does not take it off. It has a bear on it and is blue.....and HE LOVES IT!! He calls it his "blue cub hat." He is really funny about certain things...... He does not like my hair down...he always tells me "mommy hair up pease"......if something is in the wrong spot he will move it and put it where it goes......he likes to be clothed, he generally does not like running around naked.......He has me laughing all day long!!! He is having some problems with the word 'mine' I would love to take it out of his vocabulary!! Especially when we are with a child he is with often enough to be used to. It is definately a stage because all his 2 yr old friends do the samething, but it can be frustrating. Other than the word mine he plays well and is such a fun little boy!! I promise to do a better job posting......we have been up north at my families house for about half the summer off and on! It has been so much fun, and of course Lincoln loves all the attention he gets there! Enjoy the upcoming posts!!!
