Time to head up north....

Well this was our year to go home for Christmas! We left on Tuesday morning, which ended up being a bit of a nightmare. We got into bad weather and after seven hours in the car we were back in Terre Haute at a hotel for the night. Lincoln surprisingly did great under the circumstances. He not only was stuck in a car seat, but is getting his stomach and eye teeth and was having horrible diarrhea the whole way up. Once we got to Terre Haute we made the best of it and cut a pair of sweats off for Lincoln to wear in the pool and we all got in. Thank goodness we were the only ones in the pool because of couse we had not planned on swimming and did NOT pack accordingly! The next morning we got up and went to Pappy and Mimi's and had a wonderful rest of the trip. We got to spend time with Aunt Johnna, which is always fun. Lincoln just loved playing 1..2..3...hop with her! We also love spending time with our Great-pappy and Great-mimi....As you can see from the pictures G-pappy and Lincoln had matching sweat pants made by my mom. It was a HUGE hit!! I am so glad Lincoln is able to be blessed to spend time with his Great Grandpa's and Grandma's. We went to church Christmas eve and then it was time to open up our pajamas. After opening our pajamas, Lincoln looked under the tree and said "more." He is still at the age where that is cute, but of course we had to melt and let him open a couple Christmas eve.
