We went to the doctor today for Lincoln's check up. He did great except when he had to lay back and get examined! However, his vocabulary is right on track saying more words then most kids his age. He was very impressed with Lincoln's motor skills and memory for puzzles and books. He was 35 1/2 inches tall (80%) and 26lbs 1 oz (average 50%). The doctor was very impressed with all that our little man eats. He sure is not picky!!! The whole time we were there Lincoln insisted on not taking his boots of, therefore he walked around in a diaper and boots the whole time. He looked hilarious!
It is time to start introducing potty training!! I am open for suggestions.....
I just can not believe how fast time has flown, and that we are trying to promote being a "big boy" to my "baby" I just love being a mommy!!!

Potty training for me with Corbin and Samantha was so easy and this is my advice. Wait until THEY are ready. If you try and push it and they are not ready it will be so frustrating for all involved. Corbin was actually 2 1/2 when he was potty trained and he went from diapers to underware even at night in only 2 months. Other than that just lots of encouraging, but do not push it. If you want some more tips feel free to e-mail me. Good luck!
My suggestion for potty training is to not push it on them but to wait until they show signs of being ready themselves!! Trust me...it goes SO much faster and easier when they are ready!!!! If you start too early it will take a long time and many mistakes before they finally ready! I waited till Addisyn was just over 2 1/2 and she learned so quick I was stunned!! She was doing things in the first couple days that other moms told me took their kids months!! So patience is my advice!! Trust me...it will be the best for both of you! =)
