Lincoln is 20 months... and YES we are alive!!

Sorry for the BIG delay in post, we have not only been busy, but my computer was acting up. Oh how fun Lincoln is right now!! He is saying more and more words everyday. He knows how to say all of the face parts and his vocabulary is becoming quite large. Hat and shoe are still favorites. We have added horse (for uncle Matty) and we are doing very good with our manners. He is probably saying around 35-40 words, but not stringing them together yet. He is doing a lot of long sentences, but in a different language. We just shake our heads and say "oh really" and that seems to satisfy him. He is using his imagination a lot and loves to drive cars and trucks around. He has a truck book right now that is called My Big Truck Book and he loves it!! He points to the truck that looks like daddy's and says dada and then for some reason when we turn to the big gray van he says mama...it must look like my SUV...it is very funny though! Matthew built Lincoln a house out of cabinet boxes and it has been so much fun for him to play in, also to escape in with things he is not suppose to have! He is so sensitive, it breaks my heart. He gets his feelings hurt over someone just bumping into him, and he sticks his bottom lip out and just looks heart broken. I hope he always stays a little bit like this, but for his sake grows out of it a little bit. I was very much like this when I was little. Shy and sensitive. It takes him a while to warm up to new places, and new people. He is my best bud!! I just love this cuddling stage and learning new things. However, along with all the fun there is a little bit of disciplining that has been happening. Luckily it does not take much since he is so sensitive. When he is tired is when it seems like he acts out the most. He still love shoes (well it is boots this winter) and hats!!! Matt and I took him to see the Christmas lights last night and he loved that his favorites were the duck, tractor, horse, and of course all the dog dogs (deer). It makes me sad that we are only a few months away from his 2nd birthday, but I am so thankful for my little family. We love to just stay home the three of us and just hang out, it may seem boring to others, but WE LOVE IT!!

The cowboy hat is for Uncle Matty....we love and you miss you!!! Can't wait to see you soon!!!
