10 months already???

It is hard to believe that our little guy is already 10 months!!! I know I have said this with every stage, but I just LOVE how fun Lincoln is right now. He is saying mamamama.....which always makes me smile. We are still working on dada (and believe Matthew is working on it everyday!) Lincoln has become quite the show boat for the camera, and anyone who is watching him. If you laugh he will mock you and laugh....he is quite the ham! He is crawling everywhere, he still puts his right leg out straight (he uses it to push off and go faster). He pulls himself up on everything and walks along whatever he has pulled himself up to. He is trying to stand on his own, but is not too successful yet. He will walk behind things, like his walker, and toys that are designed for helping little ones learn to walk. He is starting to sleep better at night and take better naps during the day. He normally gets up about 2-3 times a night, but once his bottom is patted he goes right back to sleep. He is taking about 2-3 naps a day ( about 45 minutes each). When he is awake....WATCH OUT!! He is on the go constantly, exploring everything!!! He wants everything we have and especially cups. This child LOVES cups...he would choose a cup over any toy! He talks into the cup and then hands it to us for us to talk into it, and on and on. He also likes to put balls in the cups and shake the cup. He also likes to wrestle pillows, it is hilarious to watch. We still read a lot of books, and he really likes to listen to his kids songs. He dances, shakes his tooshy, and bops his head up and down (hopefully he will be a better dancer than I am!!) As for eating, he is starting to eat crackers a little bit, and he will have a bite of our food, but he still nurses and has baby food for the most part. Oh, and he loves his oatmeal cereal mixed with apple juice. He also really like his sippy cups with water in them. Lincoln now has two bottom teeth and that will hopefully be it for a little while. I think he is weighing about 22 lbs, but that is on our scale. He also still loves his baths and any kind of water. He has learned to put his hand in a cup of water and splash (thank you Mimi!) Lincoln still does not like things stacked up, even a towel on my head bothers him. He will laugh and then knock down whatever is stacked. We could not be happier right now....we have become quite the hermits because it is so much fun to just stay home and enjoy our family!! Enjoy the pictures........
