Lincoln is 9 months.....

I can not believe that I am actually posting today, I have my friends baby who is only 3 weeks older than Lincoln. I really thought I would not have one spare second all day, but they are both taking morning naps at the same time....what are the chances? They are so much fun to have together!! Matt and I watched Addie the other evening and we were both cracking up all night at the two of them. They like to play follow the leader, Lincoln will crawl and Addie will follow and then they will switch...it is too cute!! I will try to post more pictures after today.
Lincoln is 9 months and I can not believe how the time has flown by!! He is getting so big!! He thinks he can stand on his own, but once he lets go quickly learns he can not. He is such a happy and content baby not a good sleeper, but perfect in every other way so I can deal with the sleeping issue. He has learned to give kisses, it is a little bit more like licking, but I love it!! He loves to look as his reflection in the mirror or in glass. He loves me reading to him. He got a new Peek-a-boo book for Christmas and he is learning to pull the flaps down himself and when he does he just giggles and giggles....adorable!! He also loves the book Mr. Brown can moo can you (Dr. Seuss), I would probably be embarrassed if anyone heard me reading it to him (I make sounds I never knew I could) we love our book time! He also has really enjoyed the rolls of wrapping paper, when the closet door is open he gets in there and play with the rolls... who needs toys??? We went to the doctor last week and he said Lincoln is just doing great!! He had not gained as much weight as normal because he is on the move so much, but the doc said that was normal. He was 19 lbs. 12 oz. which puts him average on weight and a little above average on height. Perfect!
We went home last weekend and ended up getting snowed it!! We knew there was going to be a good chance of having to stay longer, but we both were kind of hoping for it. Saturday night we had my dads side Christmas, we took Tyler and Hannah with us. The three kids are so fun to have together. Tyler and Hannah are so good with Lincoln and he loves them too. They are his big brother and sister! Late in the night the roads got bad so from Saturday night until Monday afternoon we all just stayed in and relaxed (well Matthew and I ventured out to play in the snow, but my mom, dad, & Lincoln all stayed in). We played games and cards and just had a wonderful time! My brother is coming from Hawaii this next week and we are all so excited to see him, however I think he is looking most forward to giving Lincoln lots of TLC...he has bought Lincoln so much Hawaiian stuff (it should be funny)! We plan on leaving Christmas afternoon to go to my families house. We will spend Christmas eve with Matthew's parents. Christmas morning should be fun because it will just be the three of us enjoying the morning and opening gifts. We are staying at my parents house until after the new year, it should be a lot of fun!!! I will try my best to post before the new year, but time is getting away quickly and I have not been quite as good at taking pictures, I will try to do better!!! Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!

Sorry if my grammar is bad Lincoln has been sitting on my lap while I was typing. It is hard to think and write and play with him!
