Lincoln 6 months
Sorry that it has been so long since I have posted. We have been crazy busy. We went to Indianapolis last weekend, we have been gone more than we have been home it seems. My friend Katie is having a baby and we went to Indy to her couples baby shower. It was a lot of fun! We do not get to see our friends very often so it is always a lot of fun seeing everyone. Lincoln as always was a big hit too. From the second we walked in the door he was held by everyone, but us! Addy and Lincoln have been spending a lot of time together too. We dressed them up in matching pumpkin outfits that my mom got them and took pictures. They were so funny! They also are developing quite the personalities, they got in their first baby fight. Addy had Lincoln's toy, so he would take it and she would holler and then she would take it back and he would holler! It was hilarious!! I tried to get it on video, but somehow messed the camera up. I got a little clip of the end when they were settling down that I will load on the computer later. As for Lincoln since my last post he is doing a lot of funny things. He now sits up for short periods of time with no help. He also will belly laugh when you say something like yeehaa (kind of embarrassing that I say that, but he likes it), and BOO, he thinks Matthew is very interesting. We always wonder what Lincoln thinks Matt does all the time since he is always coming and going. Home in the morning, gone back again at lunch and then gone again, but he is always happy to see him because he gets bored with me all day everyday. He still does not smile at strangers and it takes him a real long time to get used to people. However, when we go places he will talk and holler all through the store, unless someone starts talking to him then he stops until that person walks away. He is quite the character. Lincoln's schedule: Up at about 6:30 eat, eat every 2 1/2 hours one jar of vegetables at lunch, usually two short naps a day, lots of play time, and to bed at around 9 and up about 4-6 times at night. Not really a very good schedule, huh? I wish we could break him of his night time habits! I think part of the problem is that Matthew wants him to sleep with us, and at every opportunity puts him in our bed. I will admit I love him in bed with us, but it is not a good habit to start. The other day he was so tired from not sleeping at night, that the next morning he was playing and fell sound asleep amongst all his toys. Now that we are going to be home for a little while, my plan is to work on the nap and bedtime habits! Any suggestions? Oh and still no teeth, but lots of slobber! I also think he will be crawling any day, he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth. He is so fun right now!! We could not be more blessed, Lincoln is such a happy, fun baby!
