8 Weeks!!!

Sorry .. this post is WAY overdue. Things have been quite busy with finals and wedding! We have done a lot since our last post. Lincoln is now 8 weeks!!! I can not believe it. We went to the doctor and he weighed 12 lbs. 15 oz. which puts him in the 75% for weight...he is also in the 75% for height. He is quite the chunk. The pediatrician could not believe how advanced he was acting ... he is already doing push ups when on his tummy, holding his head, and he really responds to what people are saying. The doctor said he was leading his age group developmentally...What a good feeling!!!! We have taken him on his first fishing trip to go see great grandma and grandpa...and we have had a lot of visitors the past few weeks. Aunt Johnna, Amanda, and Tara came from Chicago to see him. After they left Matt thought Lincoln smelled so much like perfume and had so much lip gloss on his face that Matthew insisted we give him a bath. Uncle Matty is still home from Washington and has come to visit quite often....we love him being home and we are really going to miss him "IF" he goes back (no pressure though!!) Things could not be any better....my first Mother's day was great, it is such a blessing to have a healthy child and a loving daddy!!!!!!
I promise I will do better on my posting...I will make it a priority every week!!!
